About Me

Hello! I am TonieRose, a Gen-X and currently an Information technology student. I am a mother of 3 adult children and two furry babies named Peach, a golden labrador mix, and Daisy, a husky. Aside from Journalism and Nursing, why did I decide to go back to school for Nursing? One, more than two years ago, my spouse and I decided to return to school to pursue careers in other fields as we had reached full empty nesters. Working in the financial sector as a bank manager, I witnessed firsthand how quickly contemporary technology is developing. Therefore, a degree in information technology is a good idea if you want to keep up with innovation and learn more about computers and the cyber world. Lastly, there is a lot of potential for remote work in information technology. With our two fur babies in tow, my spouse and I intend to travel to the 50 states in an RV. Although computer innovation seems promising, cybersecurity is a significant problem. As a Gen-Xer who has seen how computers have changed over time, and as a bank manager, I know the dangers of identity theft, fraud, and hacking. To make things as straightforward as possible, I want to share my insights into what I am learning with my readers and figure out methods to simplify cybersecurity.
